Pricing FAQ

Does Care Plan Builder store my clients' information?
No. All care plan content, client identities, ADL/IADL assessments, medication schedules, and version history persist exclusively in your browser storage and in local files you export. Rovaryn never stores any client or patient data. This is the defining architectural constraint — not a policy, but a design decision.
Do I need to sign a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement?
No. Because Care Plan Builder stores no Protected Health Information on our servers, there is no Business Associate Agreement to execute. There is nothing to run past a privacy officer.
Can I switch tiers?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from your billing settings. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your care plan data lives in your browser storage and in the local .cwbplan files you export. When you cancel, you keep all exported files. Your Rovaryn account data (org settings, billing records, review reminder metadata) is retained for 90 days post-cancellation, then deleted. We recommend exporting all plans before cancellation.
Can I add more seats on the Team tier?
Yes. On Team, you can add extra seats at $20/month each. When adding a 6th seat, you'll see a comparison: add a seat ($20/month) or upgrade to Agency (unlimited seats at $299/month).
Is there a free trial?
Yes — 14 days, Agency-tier access, no credit card required. You have full access to every feature including the plan builder, all assessments, all exports, and the review dashboard.
What's the difference between monthly and annual pricing?
Annual pricing saves you 2 months (approximately 17% off). Solo annual: $590/yr (vs $708 monthly). Team annual: $1,490/yr (vs $1,788 monthly). Agency annual: $2,990/yr (vs $3,588 monthly).
Does the digital product store relate to the SaaS subscription?
They're separate purchases. Digital products (CW-01 through CW-20) are one-time purchases from careworkbook.com/store. If you buy a digital toolkit and then sign up for the SaaS, you'll receive a coupon for 15% off your first 3 months — look for it in your purchase confirmation email.
